Initial Consultation
It starts with listening.
Your first appointment at Ember Health Collective is to really get to know you & not just what’s brought you in. We will go through your health story, how you’ve been feeling, and what you’d love to get back to doing.
Dr Olivia & Dr Ethan will take the time to listen to your concerns, talk through your health history, and understand the goals that are important to you.
From there, Dr Olivia & Dr Ethan will complete a comprehensive assessment of your spine, nervous system & muscular systems. Depending on your individual needs, this may include looking at your posture, range of movement, muscle function, and areas of your spine that may require further attention.
Dr Olivia & Dr Ethan may recommend further testing, such as X-rays, where clinically appropriate.
Your first visit is about giving you the space to be heard, helping us understand what your body needs, and working out the most appropriate next steps for you.
Please allow 30 minutes for Chiropractic & 45 minutes for Osteopathic appointments.
What to Wear:
While it is not crucial that you wear particular clothing, it is important that you are comfortable. Ideally, loose fitting clothes are preferred.
What to Bring:
If you have had any recent xrays, CT, MRI or ultrasounds please bring these to your appointment.
If you have private health insurance that has Chiropractic & Osteopathy covered under your extra's policy, please bring your card as we have HICAPS for instant rebates in our studio.
Medicare Referrals:
If you have a current referral from your GP to see a Chiropractor or Osteopath please bring this, along with your medicare card. Please note that your initial consultation will incur a $30 out of pocket cost.
